You are a BRAVE mama!!! Our girls have only had one ice cream cone...when they were 2 1/2! They still talk about it very fondly...but they know we're a "cup" family. ;) Love that smile!
There's nothing wrong with being a "cup" family at all! Actually the cones are less messy than the cups for some reason in our household. I think because the girls won't eat the ice cream out of the cups until it is entirely melted, and then they spill it all over the place. With the cone they will eat as they go. Weird I know! Our rule is that they have to eat it outside, and then essentially they get hosed off (along with the sidewalk) before they come in. They think it's the greatest thing ever. Which, perhaps it is=)
Oh it's messy! Good point...I need to do before and after pictures next time! We usually have to hose them off (at least their hands and feet) before they come in. We only eat outside though, so it's all hose-off-able. This momma was thinking - LOL =).

Love it! The mess is the BEST part. You can measure the success of a day by the mess of the toddler at bedtime.
ReplyDeleteI am loving that huge smile on your daughter's face!! And I agree, what could be better?
